Submit a Student Poster Abstract

Submission Deadline: February 15, 2025

Presentation Format

  • Printed poster that will fit on an 8’ wide x 4’ tall poster board. Presenter is responsible for creating and printing the poster.

  • Plus a video presentation that will be included in the Conference Mobile App, at the conference website, and accessible by QR code at presenter’s poster station. Video presentation may contains slides and maximum length is 7 minutes.

  • Presenter must attend the conference and available for the 2 Meet the Author sessions.

  • Presenter is responsible for paying the student registration fee for the conference.

  • Presenter must be a full-time student currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a degree in arboriculture, urban forestry, forestry, horticulture, or related fields.

  • Confirmation and presentation guidelines will be emailed to selected poster presenters.

Guideline for Abstracts

  • Abstracts are limited to 250 words.

  • Identify topic area

  • Abstracts should be in paragraph form, without bullet points.

  • Abstract body should include details regarding the background, purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the project.

  • Indicate topic for presentation (e.g., tree preservation, pruning, arboriculture equipment, public attitudes about trees)

  • Indicate 5 key words

Speaker Biographical Information

  • Submit a brief biographical paragraph, including your current job title. Please do not submit a C.V.
