To qualify for the Student Rate, individual must be a registered full-time student and have no business income. If there is a question about eligibility, a letter on university letterhead verifying student status may be requested.

Illustrations in Tree Case Law
Presented by James Komen, Consulting Arborist, Class One Arboriculture
Several specific regional tree cases will be discussed that include engaging the attendees in discussions about thier opinions of potential outcomes. Then the appropriate case law will be presented and the case outcome. This workshop will be an engaging hands on approach to learning about trees and the law!


PRESENT A POSTER AT CONFERENCE

Students have the opportunity to do a Poster Presentation at the Annual Conference. Posters will be displayed on the trade show floor. Poster will also have a video presentation component. Two Meet the Authors sessions will also be held.

Southern Chapter Memorial Scholarship

Student Scholarships are available each year for students attending 2 yr and 4 yr colleges and universities. An additional scholarship is available to graduate students to assist with costs associated with attending the Southern Chapter Annual Conference.

The scholarships are available to full-time sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a degree in arboriculture, urban forestry, forestry, horticulture, or related fields.
